There are many
different options when choosing a substantial connection to the Internet.
NetIn.com offers full Point to Point T1 connections
using HDLC, multiple load balanced T1 connections, as well as
ATM and Frame
Relay circuits, in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Having many options
usually means complexity, and understanding the choices is sometimes
difficult. Our technical staff is ready to help you at 972-790-4858.
T1 circuit
consists of 2 components for recurring charges:
The
local loop is a telco supplied wire that is the T1. The Internet port
is the connection of that wire to the Internet. When pricing T1 based
services, it is important to understand what is included in the pricing
and what is not (so you can compare "apples to apples").
If you do not need us to provide the T1 (maybe you have a special
arrangement with a T1 provider), we could provide you with separate
pricing for the Internet port.
All
of our T1 based services require a router for the customer side of
the connection. This router will need to have a T1 interface, and
an interface for the customer's local area network. It is this router
that connects the customer's local area network to the T1. Usually,
we recommend a Cisco 1700 or 2600 series router, but others are available.
