How to Order SWB Based DSL Service

This is a general overview of the steps to get connected to the Internet using NetIn.com's DSL service in the Southwestern Bell telephone (SWB) area. Our technical staff is ready to help you choose the services and options that fit your specific needs.
  1. Call us to perform a line qualification on your telephone line. DSL is a distance sensitive technology. We have to check to see if DSL is available to you. Please call our sales department at 972-790-4858.
  2. Choose the level of service (i.e.: how fast) you want. Please see the prices page for the options.
  3. Call us to determine your IP addressing scheme. See our IP address page for more information.
  4. Get a router. You may buy a router from manufacturers such as LinkSys, Netopia, Cisco, or others. There are also many projects using Linux as a router.
  5. Setup the machines on your Local Area Network (IP addresses, domain name, server services, etc.) while waiting for the DSL install date.
